My heart is absolutely broken
Can't imagine how Amanda's family is feeling. I am sorry that this happened to such a wonderful woman. I was there visiting her just a week ago today. She seemed to be ok with everything. She is at peace now. I will miss her everyday and for as long as I am here. She had a heart of gold.
Love & miss you, Amanda.

My thoughts & prayers are with Amanda’s family especially her kids at this time. I know she’s in a better place right now watching over everyone close to her heart. The past 7 to 8 years we were close save a spot for me wherever you’re at and we will laugh and tell each other stories like always till next time my friend. R.I.P Amanda

Amanda Panda, AMO

I’ve been struggling to find the words to say. Nothing seems to make sense to me. None of this makes sense. You were supposed to be okay and get through everything, just like you always told me I’d be okay and I’d get through it. I’ll always remember your laughter, great smile and amazing hugs!

I remember when I first met you at your 7th grade basketball or volleyball (can’t remember which one) game, and Lana and Savannah and April, told you, she’s one of us now and I was forever grateful to be part of the “Grenora” club even though I didn’t go to school there. I’m thankful I was introduced to you that day.

When you told me you were pregnant with Tyson, I was so happy and so scared for you! But you rocked this. I remember picking you from your dads and Carla’s just to bring you to Applebees’s, and I got to hang out with Tyson for the day! You were so proud to be a mama!

We lost contact after I moved to Michigan and you had Rylan. But, we could always catch up in a heartbeat like we never skipped a beat. I wish I could’ve taken away the pain, hurt, you were experiencing. I know you are looking out for all of us! I love you!!

Oh and “I will be okay!”

Amanda was one of my students my first year in Grenora. She was the nicest and sweetest student and would often come into my office and visit. She was not happy they were moving to Williston and promised to stay in touch, which she did. I saw her a few times when she worked at AppleBees, and she proudly introduced me to her son Tyson. I am sad that her life ended this way as she had so many bright possibilities. Rest in peace sweet girl.
