I am deeply saddened for all of Ralph's loved ones. He was 1 of a kind man, a rare gem. He was very much liked & loved by all that knew him. He will be remembered for many years to come. I pray that God will give you all peace. RIP Ralphy ????????????

Ralph's play by play voice will live on in all the games that were recorded by us parents. A talented voice like his does not come around very often and he will be missed for years to come.

I was very saddened to learn of Ralph's passing.
I first met Ralph decades ago when I was doing sports for a Devils Lake radio station and Ralph was at KLPM in Minot. We were colleagues and co workers for well over 30 years in Williston.
Prayers to the family. I have wonderful memories and you will be missed. RIP Ralph.

So very sorry to hear of Ralphs passing. It Was always a pleasure when he would announce at the races.....such a delightful man who never forgot a face....he will be missed. Thinking of his family during these difficult days.

Ralph and I spent 13 years at Manchester Schools together. He was a quiet, kind, steady guy. The kind of person all of us were glad to count as friend. To his family and mother, Geri, my condolences. Gone too soon, but will be missed by all, and loved forever.

We did not have an opportunity to actually meet Ralph, but we felt that we knew him and that he was our friend from having listened to his announcing the Coyotes and Keybirds games this past spring and summer. We were in Texas where Parks was being treated at a cancer clinic during baseball season and could not attend any of our grandson's games in North Dakota. Ralph made us smile many times by telling us during the ballgames that he hoped Parks was doing better, and he helped us "see" our grandson playing through his wonderfully descriptive voice on the radio. We had no idea he was so sick while he was making an effort to lift us up in our struggle. Your husband, father, and grandfather was a good man. We know he will be missed by many lives he has touched through the years which include the Callan family from Georgia.

Prayers to Ralph's family. So many of our sports memories have Ralph as a part of them--from Dave's early coaching days to Doug's playing days. Ralph was great to the athletes, and to the parents. He was a true professional, but there are also some funny bus stories that just bring a chuckle! His passing is a huge loss to his profession and to the community. Our sympathy to his family. I am so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. I have had a business relationship with Ralph during my banking career for about 30 years. I always looked forward to Ralph stopping by to sell more sports advertising. I really enjoyed talking sports with him. He was one of a kind and I will really miss him and his great radio broadcasting voice. Rest in peace Ralph.

Haven't seen Ralph for a few years. But I got to know him very well. He invited me to do basketball ball games with him, especially when New Town and Watford City played.. I loved those nights. RIP ole friend..

The press boxes of western North Dakota aren't the lively places they once were with the passing of wonderful broadcasters like Ralph and Dickinson's Lee Leiss. As a Bismarck sportswriter, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Ralph in the press box, because he was always professional in his approach and thoroughly prepared. That, of course, allowed me to pick up useful information on the Keybirds or Coyotes. I sometimes wonder how Ralph found enough hours in a day to travel with teams, broadcast games, do statistics and fit in the rest of life. It was commonplace to have Williston coaches say "talk to Ralph" when I was in search of statistics. You leave a big hole in the varsity lineup, Ralph. A big, big hole.
Blessings to the family. At times like this, it's time to depend heavily on the Lord.
