Dear Family and Friends,
Doug was my classmate and friend from the great class of 1979. He had a fast car with great speakers and I remember cruising Main with him and a bunch of friends, Nazareth blasting from the speakers. We made all kinds of mischief in those days. I will always remember him as a handsome young guy with a glint in his eye. My Dad (Vern) said he worked with him in the oilfield later on. May God Bless all of you and hold you in his arms during this tough time. Much Love, Kim

No one can imagine your pain and sorrow. A true DeMoe legacy is being built with your research to find a cure. God Bless you all. You all are true heroes to me.

I finally got the chance to read The Inheritance, actually just finished it this morning. What an amazing story of courage and fight of the DeMoe family. Their desire to be used in the research/battle against Alzheimer's disease is truly commendable, touching, heartwarming as well as gut wrenching. May the memories of the DeMoe family, and especially Doug now at this moment, continue to live as a beacon for all to see. Thanks Doug for your contribution, you've made many people proud to have known you.

We had many great times together and always had a connection through Jennifer. I will truly miss Doug and always remember some of his favorite songs and hanging in the basement! He is free now and for that we need to rejoice although our hearts say otherwise.

I wish to extend my sincerest condolences to the DeMoe family with the passing of Doug. I remember working with both Brian and Doug during the early eighties in and around the oil fields of Tioga. I am glad he was instrumental in helping to bring peace of mind to others with his aid in trying to find an understanding and cure for those who succumbed to Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. God Bless and Godspeed!
