Mom's 88th Birthday Celebration
Dear Mom,
Losing Karen in August last year was hard on us all but losing Dad in June this year was especially hard on you. My heart is heavy and happy at the same time. I’m going to miss your quick wit and loving support. In my troubled years you were my personal confidant in matters of the heart; never holding back what you felt I needed to hear. I may not have always heeded your advice; I was too young and felt so much wiser. Now an older man with so much yet to learn, I will miss your candor. As we lay your body to rest next to dad, I will cling to happy thoughts. I will close my eyes and hope to see you and dad and Karen all together again. All of you beaming smiles to brighten my day.
Love,
Butch

Having known Lydia and Alvin through our church, Trinity Lutheran, it was a privilege to share the Word of God with both of them. Lydia was faith filled and faithful in her Christianity and between her and Al they shared their talents among the Trinity Church family for so very many years. Lydia was a loving fellow believer whom we miss along with Alvin. God be with the families of these dear people. Bill and Sharon Smelser send their love and God's blessings to her families.

My condolences to the Wiederrich family. The kind, warm and wise words Lydia shared during her life time are of great treasure to all who had the opportunity to know her. May the family find peace and comfort as you reflect on her life. May you also look forward to the grand promise of Revelation 21:3, 4.

My condolences to the family. I first met Al when our furnace went out Dec 31, 1977 and he installed a new one at midnight. Would you believe a new one only cost $278! Then Lydia was a loyal shopper at JC Penneys and I waited on her many times. When Al retired they would always come shopping together. I enjoyed watching them dance. They are now dancing together again.
