It was our joy to get to know Vicky after we moved to Stanley. Every time I saw her she greeted me with "Hej på dej!" She came to our Swedish midsummer celebrations at Kenmare two years ago and shared with me the story of a hymn I sang in Swedish at the celebration. She lit up as she shared with us some facts and stories about the customs of her homeland. The participants were thrilled. She would bring me Swedish cooking magazines and talk about the recipes with me.
Farväl min kära vän. Vila i lugnt slummer.

Aunt Vicky will be sorely missed. Her fighting Swedish spirit proved how tough the Johnson's are. Although so many miles apart, the times we spent together will always be near to our hearts. The hotel, the restaurant, the bar, the hot springs. So many fond memories, we will miss you so much! Karl, Marybeth, Ethan and Andrew

Tilman and families of Vicki, I worked in Stanley for the health care system for 4 years. That is where I met Vicki. She was a kind and loving lady. We had many good visits. I went out to her home once to pick juneberries. Vicki helped me plan my first trip to Sweden to meet my cousins. I met her sister Francis over there. I always remember Vicki as a special lady who helped make my time spent in Stanley enjoyable. God bless her always. Vonnie Johnson

We met Vicky in Nevada and enjoyed her loving friendship. She always welcomed us with open arms when we showed up in Austin and in Stanley. We will miss her very much.

In Sweden Vicky was known by the name Svea. Or “Svea In Agviken”. My aunt Svea was almost like a sister to me. There’s special place in my heart for my aunt right there besides my mother Frances.
Svea will be missed by many friends over here in Sweden that Svea always kept in touch throughout the years. She was everybody’s best friend.
Condolences to the Jones and the Jolly family’s from all our families overseas.
A special hug for TJ.
Love “Kristina in Agviken”
