Sending our sincere sympathies to Geri and the whole Rugland family. We suffered the sudden loss of David's mother earlier this year, know that many people understand what you are going through at this time and will comfort you in prayer.

It's times like this I wish I was still in the Palermo area. My sympathies go out to you, Vonee, Geri, & Greg. A lot of great memories. Still remember when your dad came to our place on his snowmobile, rang the doorbell, and asked mom if Lawrence could come out and play. That was in the 70's. Everytime I was back, he would ask if I rode the Gold Wing home. He liked his bikes! Always enjoyed having the "Palermo Pickers" play for our alumni banquets. Great sense of humor. He will be missed but a lot of great memories. My prayers are with you.

Geri and all of Gordon's family, I was sorry to read of your dad's passing. I got to know him more recently in the last several years and he was such a joy to visit with, always smiling with a memory to share, and had a genuine interest in others. Your dad left you a loving legacy, as beautifully written in his life's story. He will be fondly remembered by many for his kind heart, sharing of memories, and his beautiful music. You are in my thoughts, praying for strength, comfort, and peace now and in the days and weeks ahead.

Max and I were not able to attend your dad's funeral. Our sympathy to all of your family.
We enjoyed listening to Gordon and the Palermo Pickers at the alumni banquets and the Norsk Hostfest.
A memorial has been sent in Gordon's honor to the Sibyl Center.
