Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 10 AM to 6pm, on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, from 10 AM to Noon at the funeral home and one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services for Bobby “Bob” Wicorek, 74 of Fairview are at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairview with Pastor Roberta Pierce officiating.


Cemetary
Cremation will follow services under the direction of the Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney, MT

Bobby John “Bob” was born on November 2, 1938, at the Brodhead House in Fairview, MT, the son of Albert and Louise (Johnson) Wicorek. They lived on the Martell farm, where Bob helped them farm. He attended Central school in rural Fairview. In 1948, they moved to Buford where Bob finished grade school. He attended Fairview High School. During his high schools years, Bob sang solos at the sock hops. Bob worked for the Thomas brothers International Dealers for years. In 1957, Bob married Joyce Reidle and from this marriage there were two children, Mike and Connie. He owned and operated his own tire business in Fairview. Bob also did custom haying for many years, even still hauling hay for people right up to his death.
As a young boy, Bob served as an altar boy for the Catholic Church. He was on the Fairview Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and was the Fire Chief for many years. Bob was a member of the Fairview Jaycees for many years. He was twice voted as the outstanding Jaycee of the year for his service raising money for the old Fairview swimming pool. Bob had a love for animals, his horse-Dolly Anne, many cats, dogs and rabbits. He always made sure they were well fed and warm.
Bob died at his home in Fairview, on Tuesday morning, January 29, 2013.
Surviving him are: his partner of 23 years, Francis Falkenhagen, Fairview, MT; his son, Micheal (Lynette) Wicorek, Fairview, MT, and their children, Staci (J.W.) Skogas, Mason (Kristen) Wicorek, all of Fairview, MT, Aimee (Kaleb) Fry, Williston, ND; his daughter, Connie Tabbert, Fairview, MT, and her children, Brandon (Deanna) Tabbert, Laurel, MT, Tanner (Lindsey) Tabbert, Fort Bragg, NC; stepchildren, Myron (Doris) Johnson, Trenton, ND, Patti (Cal) Faiman, Dickinson, ND, Kirk (Anita) Johnson, Cartwright, ND, Scott Johnson, Tempe, AZ, and Kim Falkenhagen, Fairview, MT; his brothers, Tom (Eileen) Wicorek Auburn Dale, FL and Jack (Doris) Wicorek, Trenton, ND; his sisters, Kathy Burke, Austin, TX and Yvonne (Ken) Swenson, Sidney, MT; 9 more grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Louise Wicorek, and his twin brother, Jackie Jo Wicorek.
