Melodee Ann Fisher
July 29, 1956 - October 13, 2017

Place of Birth: Sidney, Montana
Residence: Sidney, Montana
Age: 61

Melodee Ann Fisher was born in Sidney, MT on July 29, 1956 to Warren and Ann (Maslowski) Fisher. From the day she was born, her passion for life paved the way for a future of doing things her way. Growing up on the farm west of Sidney started her love of animals that carried her through a life of unconditional love by an array of furry animal children. When her parents wouldn’t get her a horse because she was too young, she rode her cow “Tom” and “Bella” around in the corral. She didn’t let a “no” responses stop her from getting what she wanted. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1975 and has maintained classmate friendships throughout the years. Her adventurous spirit drove her to venture to Las Vegas in 1980 where she took interest in the medical field. She did training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center as a Physical therapist and worked at the hospital in Clark County, Nevada. Melodee loved to help people and thrived during her years as a therapist. Arthritis forced her to leave her position after 13 years, but quickly found the vibrant environment of the hotel industry appealing and worked at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas before making the decision to move back to her hometown of Sidney in 2004. Much to the delight of her parents, Melodee lived in Sidney for the remainder of her life.
Her love of animals kept a trail of permanent and foster furry residents in her home throughout the years and often extended a helping hand to those she felt needed a fury friend of their own. Second to her love of animals, she thoroughly enjoyed working in the yard and planting trees. Melodee loved her extended family of friends and spent time connecting with them on a regular basis. She was always interested and concerned with how their lives were going.
Melodee passed away on Friday afternoon, October 13, 2017, at the Sidney Health Center, Sidney, MT. She will be forever missed by her family, friends and her many animals especially her Rottweilers’ “Little Bear” and “TJ”.
She is survived by: her parents Warren and Ann Fisher, who will forever have an angel watching over them.

Warren & Ann, I am so sorry, Melodee was smart as a whip, she was so good at her job in Vegas, she fondly talked about it. I enjoyed visiting with her next door for the time we were neighbors. She did have a giving spirit, and such a sense of humor! She loved you both, and was so proud of where she came from. May God wrap you in his arms and carry you both through the days ahead.

Warren and Ann,
I am so sad to hear that your beautiful daughter has gone before us. Mel was a life long friend to me. When I was going through my cancer treatments, she showed up at my house via taxi cab in a blizzard to give me a Footprints picture and a hug. She was surely one in a million! Peace be with you today. Much love~Deana
