Curt was simply good!
Today we celebrate the life of Curtis Dean Brown, the life he lived and the life he has moved onto. Curt loved life, loved adventure and making the best of it all. He looked out for others and always took care of his family. He was always looking out for his sister and brothers. Curt and his family spent a short period of his childhood in Glasgow, MT and Iran, and later graduated from Richey High School but not before leading them to a state championship as star quarterback.
Curt met his beautiful wife, Stacey, and the two married in June of 1999. The two together enjoyed life and sharing it with each other. When they weren’t traveling, they were simply spending time together; soaking up each other’s company. Curt did everything well but mostly he loved Stacey with his whole heart. They had a deep love without measure for each other. Curt was good at love.
Curt was someone who could fix anything. He was a jack of all trades and was great at it. Stacey never had to worry, because she knew he could take care of it. He never left a job undone; he would see it through to the end. Curt was good at everything.
Curt was a man of integrity. He respected everyone. He made a point to give you his attention when he spoke to you. He was genuine and honest. He never left a friend in need, if you needed him, you could count on him. As his faith in God grew, his relationship grew stronger. He was a good friend.
Curt loved sports and being active. If he wasn’t actively participating in sports, he was faithfully watching them. He was a state and national bowling champion. He was also an avid golfer; you could always count on him to brighten the greens with his loud vibrant attire. He never missed an opportunity to play.
Curt started his career off by going right into the oil field. When the oil slowed down, he went to work at Big Sky Hardware, but later went back to the oil field…sometimes you just can’t get a guy away from it. He made great friends along the way. Curt most recently worked as a gas plant operator for the Hess Corporation in Keene, ND.
Curt was simply good! Not big and animated, not over the top, just simply good.
Curt was born on April 21, 1962 in Sidney, MT and passed away on February 15, 2018 in Keene, ND.
Curt is survived by his loving wife, Stacey Brown of Sidney, MT; parents, Harvey and Bette Brown of Richey, MT; brothers, Ron (Cyndee) Brown of Sidney, MT, Scott (Suzanne) Brown of Moses Lake WA, Rock (Lindsey) Brown of Ellensburg WA; sister, Angie (Jess) Beery of Circle, MT; and many loved nieces and nephews.
