Margaret “Peggy” Lagerquist, 76, of Williston, ND and formerly of Westby, MT passed away February 18, 2018.

Peggy was born September 26, 1941 in Grenora, ND to Harvey Thomas and Lillie Lysne-Thomas.

Peggy enjoyed collecting elephant statues and figurines, watching who done it mysteries on TV and the company of her dog, Rusty and her cat Smokey. On June 6, 1963 Peggy married the love of her life, Manford Lagerquist whom she celebrated 50 years with until his death in 2013. She was a homemaker for several years, operated a restaurant in Westby, as well as, a tire and service business and later in life a gas and service station until moving to Williston, ND where she remained until her death.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Manford Lagerquist; parents, Harvey and Lillie Thomas; brother, Roger Thomas; sister, Helen Gjesdal.

Peggy is survived by her two children, Barb (Quinton) Young of Williston, ND and Ron (Shelly) Lagerquist of Wapello, IA; 2 grandchildren, Michael and Lane Lagerquist.
