Ralph Dale Rosencrans was born to Martin and Mary Elizabeth Rosencrans in Manteca, California on October 17, 1943. He grew up in rural Tioga, North Dakota with his family and attended school there until the six grade.
Ralph spent his younger years riding the rails jumping from town to town. He settled in Yellowstone country for awhile as a forestry laborer. Ralph then returned to North Dakota to stay and worked at Spring Lake Park in Williston as a forestry laborer and then worked as a janitor at the Williams County Courthouse. Throughout his life Ralph was a public servant in the communities he lived in.
He enjoyed history, loved horses, especially watching them pull the plow through the earth and was an avid coin collector. Most importantly Ralph was a great guy to everyone he met. He made many lifelong friends that will never forget him.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mary.
He is survived by his lifelong friend, Cliff Ling and numerous friends around the Williston area.
