Tammy Sue Quitt, 60, of Williston North Dakota, passed away, surrounded by those who loved her on October 3rd, 2018 at Trinity Health Hospital of Minot, ND. She was born in Mobile, Alabama on August 29, 1958 to Carol Watkins and Junior Moore.

Tammy, also known as “Brown Eyes” and “Sunshine” married the love of her life, Mike Quitt on December 24, 1993. They were happily married for almost 25 years. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, April Adam and Tracy Keller and adopted son by her heart, Shawn Bice. Tammy adored her dog, Max; who was always faithfully by her bedside.

Tammy was a firm believer in God. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Tammy really enjoyed cooking huge meals for everyone and always had enough food for whoever showed up and not to forget her homemade sweet tea which was the best. She enjoyed hunting, especially when all of her family could hunt together.

One of her favorite seasons was Christmas time. She would watch everyone open their presents first so that she could see the expressions on their face. Tammy was very proud of her family and had a kind and giving heart, she will be greatly missed.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Mike Quitt of Williston, ND; daughters April Adam of Williston, ND and Tracy Keller of Sidney, MT; adopted son of the heart, Shawn Bice of Williston, ND; brothers, Danny Watkins, Robert Watkins and Billy Watkins of Houston, MS and Benjamin Moore Junior of Texas; sisters, Nichole Scola, Brenda Brassfield, Carol Anne Burgess of Houston, MS, Christina Robin and Donna Raley of Texas; grandchildren: Natalie, Melana, Christopher and Tyson of Williston, ND and Grant and Grace of Sidney, MT; and numerous other friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her father’s; Junior Moore and Hubert Watkins; mother,
Carol Watkins; sister, Christina Robin; granddaughters, Jayla Senora and Sydney Leigh; grandma, Willie Mae Mills and grandpa, Burt Mills.

My dear sweet cousin we were so very close growing up. Then we grew up & moved away from eachother. I am so sorry I was not there but you know how much I loved you. We will be together again one day with some stories to tell.
