Curtis L. Lund, 83, formerly of Tioga, ND, more recently of Petaluma, CA passed away December 13, 2018 at Adventist Health St. Helena - Napa Valley, CA.

Curtis was born on July 25, 1935, to Palmer and Myrtle (Simonson) Lund in Baker, ND. He spent most of his early years in Park River, ND, where he attended school. In his late teens, he moved to Tioga, ND, where he worked at Farmers Union. He later ventured out to California and was hired as an installer/repairman for Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company, from which he retired almost 40 years later. Curtis enlisted in the US Army in 1958 and was honorably discharged from the Army Reserves October 31, 1964.

In his later years, Curtis traveled between his two homes, CA and ND, spending many fun times with family and friends. He always enjoyed a good steak, cooking, movies, classic cars, Chevy trucks, and farm equipment.

Curtis is survived by nephews, Rodney (Becky) Lund of Thief River Falls, MN; Terry (Tami) Lund of Park River, ND; Brad Lund of Pisek, ND; Mark Lund, CA; Randy (Jill) Olson, Bagley, MN; Paul (Vikki) Olson, Parker, AZ; Mitch (Elsa) Olson, Worland, WY; nieces, Marcia Johnston, Broken Arrow, OK; Lenae (Chris) Haas, Coon Rapids, MN; niece-in-law, Mary Lund, Park River, ND; great-niece, Lynne (Tom) Schietzelt, Tulsa, OK; and many other great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents, Palmer and Myrtle Lund; brothers, Donald Lund and Jerome Lund; sister, Maxine (Olson) Miller; and nephew, Bob Lund.
