Dorothy, Jennifer, Laurie, Paula and Families - we are thinking and praying for you all at this hard time. Paul was a great man and will be missed in our neighborhood. I am glad that Paul was able to be in Fargo to enjoy being with his family over these past few months. Family meant so much to him. If there is anything we can do back home, please let us know.

I will always remember Paul,as he was in the Farland school when my twin brother Vernon Skari and I would ride a old horse Fleusy. His mother would walk him to their mailbox and we would pick him up. Vernon in front with the reins and then Paul, and then me. I also remember ladies aid, and all the kids would go there,I remember Paul didn't like butter on his bread, I wonder if Paul still didn't like butter? His bass voice in Farland men's choir. They were good. Paul was a stalwart man. Forget Paul? Never. Wonderful memories that help you get through, Dorothy and family at times like these. Blessings at this difficult time. What a wonderful man who lived a great life. I have so many memories growing up as neighbors and playing at the Bergem house. Paul was a great friend to my dad and grandparents and a godfather to me. I remember him stopping over for coffee many times. He was such a kind man but also had a sense of humor. He will be missed. Hugs to all you.

Dorothy, Jennifer, Laurie, Paula and Families - "Precious Memories, How they Linger." These are the words that came to my mind when I heard that your dear husband, father, grandfather passed away. While I have been away from the community for some time, I was blessed to have known Paul for such a long time. Our visit just last month at the farm was so very special in so many ways. "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord" (Lamentations 3:22-26). Rest in the Hope of Jesus Christ as you grieve. Praying that God's comfort and care will go with you now and in the days ahead. God bless the memories of Paul.

I' m so sorry to hear about Paul. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I always loved coming up to your place and visiting with Paul. I would go there to visit Lori and Paula, but end up talking with Paul. He liked joking with me and giving me a hard time, I always enjoyed his laid back way and his sense of humor. I always liked kidding him by telling him how amazed I was that he still had his sanity after living in a house full of women. Paul was a special guy and I will miss him a lot.

Dorothy and family- Our prayers are with you during this difficult time. Paul was a very special friend to our parents and they spoke very highly of Paul and his family. May God grant you peace and comfort.
