My heart is heavy hearing of the passing of your Dad. I commend each and every one of you for your constant care you gave him, taking turns spending time with him his last days. You will never forget or regret those times and I hope it helps remembering those special times you each had with a very special person. My thoughts and prayers for all of you.

I’m so sorry for your loss Mary Jane and family. He was a great father and wonderful human being. He was very kind and intelligent. Both Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were very intuitive in their parenting skills. Shenanigans were figured out quickly and dealt with the way consistent parents deal with teenage behavior ?? I still wish he had believed Mary Jane one I about those attacking birds when we road our bikes to and from your family home?? God Bless all of you...your father contributed greatly to our community and we all benefited greatly from his contributions. I’m so sorry your wonderful father isn’t here on Earth any more...but am grateful he is one of angels watching over us above.
With all my love,
Cynthia Misner

Dearest Johnson Family,
This obituary is that of an amazing man. I had no idea that he was involved in and leading so many organizations and such a huge part of the growth of Sidney. To me, he was your dad, and a wonderful, kind, and generous neighbor. You must all be very proud of him. It makes me happy to know that you have all been blessed with so many years with him and have so many great memories to last forever. Sending my love from Reno.
