So sorry for your loss, I got to know Velma a bit when I first started working as a Speech Pathologist for the Mountrail County Preschool program. I would come to the school 1 time per week and Don would always say , “Velma has made some fresh caramel rolls or cookies. You better stop down and have ray qone before you leave.” Of course I did and they were awesome. She was always very quiet and sweet lady. God bless your memories.

My sincere condolences for your loss of your beloved mother Velma. May you find comfort and hope in the promise that God keeps us in his memory until the day when Jesus calls all from their memorial tombs to a peaceful new earth. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)

Velma was one of the nicest people I know. She didn't mince words, you got her opinion, whether you asked for it or not! Her family and her faith were her greatest joys and they are what I admired most about her. I imagine she had quite a reunion with Don, Brian, John and the rest of those who met her at Heaven's gates. She will definitely be missed by many. God bless her memory.
