Aunt Ione was so special and dear to us. She will be a great saint. We are so sorry that after she became ill none of us were able to see her in person again. We will treasure our many memories. I met Ione when I was working at Bethel and her mother was residing there. Ione was such a wonderful person and so pleasant with the staff.
So wonderful to read the compliment about Bethel in her obituary.

What a beautiful obituary. I learned a lot more about your mom than I already knew. I always enjoyed waiting on her at the bank and visiting with her, of course. She truly loved her family and you were all very blessed to have her in your lives for so many years. Take care and God bless. Jan

Sorry to hear about Ione passing, I have fond memories of her when my son Dave lived next door she was an awesome neighbor. She was so kind to Brady and loved visiting over the fence with Ty (dog). Prayers to all and may your wonderful memories help you.

Ione was a baby sitter to me as I remember her as the first right after WW2. She always had a smile for me as she did for everyone that made me feel good. She was a special person.

My sympathy to all of the Barstad family. She was a wonderful lady and I am happy that I got to know her. I hadn't seen her for awhile, but when I used to see her out and about she always had that huge smile and wanted to visit to tell me what her family had all been up to and to check on my family! Cherish your great memories!
