Steve, Laurie, Linda, Libby and families, I am so sorry to hear of June's passing. She was a wonderful fireball of a woman. What a legacy she left you all. I know she is at peace and with Lana now.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. June was a wonderful human being with a mischievous sense of humor, and a true North moral compass. She never made excuses and spoke the truth whether it was a popular choice at the time. Her wishes about her funeral were true to form as she always put others needs first. Heaven gained another angel...she earned her wings on Earth...
May God Bless you all and please know that even though I’m not close in distance...your loss pains me deeply and I would be there in a heart beat if I could.

June and Steve were another set of grandparents to my three girls . they always loved to go. Thank you June and Steve for making such a happy place for us to come. We knew how loved we were. June will be sorely missed.. You are all in our prayers.

What a nice lady. Years ago when my husband and I were taking out our marriage license, she was the one who waited on us and helped us get everything in order. We never forgot how nice she was.

Our family and June's were next door neighbors in the Sunset Apartments in Sidney in the late 50's and early 60's when we moved to Wyoming. My little sister, Susie, and Lana were best friends. June and my mother kept in touch for many years. June and I corresponded since mama passed in 1999. Our sympathies to your entire family, especially Steve and Linda, Laurie and Libby. To June's Family: I am sorry to hear of your Dear June's passing but at the same time rejoice with you that she is with her Savior, her life long goal. June was a shaker and mover when it came to the Class of 1954 reunions. My late husband always enjoyed those gatherings of classmates which she and others organized. My heartfelt sympathy to all of you.

Your mother was a real rock to your family and raised some really wonderful children. I never missed taking my kids to your house to see Christmas decorations, although she said Steve hated putting them up. When they finally moved, I had to see the new decorations! She was so pleasant to wait on and always looked very nice--even when she was opinionated. She is at peace and with the Lord, but my heart still breaks for Steve. I will never forget all those wonderful poems from your family in memory of Lana. "God is Our Refuge and Strength." "Be Strong in the Lord."

Dear Libby and family, I just saw her obit on the Sidney Herald website. I'm very sorry to hear that she passed. She was so kind to me when I lived there. She graciously invited me over to her house for the holidays and always made an effort to make me feel welcome. I still have the gifts she gave me when she came to our wedding reception. Such a sweetheart.

I am thinking of you all. May God give you strength.

June and I have been friends since she moved to Sidney for High School attendance. She was a great girl and a great lady. What she did over the years for our 1954 class is beyond describing. Steve and family so sorry to hear the passing of june.. i lived like 1 houses down from them on mount pleasant drive always lit up during christmas ..such a wonderful family always welcomed anyone ..june youll be missed laurie and roy my prayers are with u both .. and the rest of the family ... dad always said GOD ONLY TAKES THE BEST as he took my dad almost 2 yrs. Ago ... june will be missed and pray for steve and the family
