Sandy and Family - My deepest condolences.
Witnessing Gary's quiet but unwavering faith and appreciation for the Eucharist and other sacraments was an inspiration me and many others. I pray you are able to find hope and some level of comfort knowing your husband and dad lived his faith in God and inspired others to as well.

I taught and coached at McGregor High in 1962-63. Gary was a star on the Vikings and one of my favorite students. We served in Vietnam at the same time but I never met him there. I express my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

We feel so lucky for the opportunity to spend some time with Gary recently. He was a wonderful man in every way, and it's sad for us to know he's gone. He looked a lot like my Mom, and seeing his face was like seeing her. We're so sorry for your loss - OUR loss. May you all find comfort in the company of your family and friends, and in the knowledge that Uncle Gary has gone to a better place after a life well-lived.

Rest In Peace dear friend Gary. I graduated McGregor 1962.. We played baseball and basketball together. He was one tough farm kid!
