We are so sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. He was one of a kind. A kinder man you’d never find. Always had a smile on his face and always greeted you with a friendly hello. He will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was a sportswriter at the Williston Herald from 1979 to 1982, and Roy was one of the first Willistonites I met. He gave me a warm welcome to Williston, and I took an immediately liking to this guy. Not only did he offer me friendship, but also encouragement. Later, as I moved on to Bismarck and then Fargo, he and I would see each other at Lions conventions, as he and was a member of that organization, as am I. The Lions motto is "We serve," and the was the story of Roy's life. He served, and he served well. To the family, I pray for God's blessings and comfort.

Mr.Clark.thank you for all my best memories in High school and many years later. You always had a minute to chat and showed what professional careers ,was to be like. You and Mrs. Clark opened your home to all children.vickie had the house to go to play whist till 3 am. Thank you. Rest in peace. You will be missed.

Roy brought a smile to us all with his positive greetings, jokes and dedicated service. As Lion Roy he was a Korner Lions charter member, President, willing worker and friend. He was also known as "Mr. Insurance" as he volunteered to help. His love for his family, and fellow humans was a genuine inspiration!!!

To the Clark clan! Roy was an amazing man. I loved his sense of humor. He had much patience with me during our softball practices esp getting me to switch hit...who knew my left handed hits were stronger? Roy did! And he helped my pitching and catching skills too. Miss those good Ole days.
He'll be making them smile in heaven.
An angel gone too soon. May you all embrace the wonderful memories of Roy as life moves on.

We are so sorry to hear about Roy. We send so many hugs to your family. My childhoold memory of your Dad was going to watch the "So Nice Circle" at Gloria Dei...he was so funny. Of course all the sports events our families attended together growing up are some of the best highschool and college memories I have. I know you will miss him dearly. Hug your mom for us. Sorry to hear about Roy's passing! I was fortunate to meet Roy while Todd and Shelly played basketball at UND-Williston (now Williston State). He was such a nice man and always had a story to tell! He and Marge loved their kids and enjoyed attending all their sporting activities! Prayers to Marge, Randy, Vicki, Deb, Todd, and Shelly! May you rest in Peace good servant!
