I wish I had a magic wand and could by-pass that day Danny left us and start over so you all would not end 2022 and start 2023 with such a sadness in your hearts. I can't, so want you to know I am thinking of you and sending lots of hugs and prayers as we all remember how blessed we were to have a memory of him that is personal to reflect on in the days ahead. His quick wit and positive attitude stands out in my mind. Sincerest condolences.

I feel most grateful to have had the opportunity to meet Dan and members of his family. Thank you all for your kindness during our visit. I wish each of you strength, peace and good days ahead. I see many of Dan's finest qualities in each of you. Honesty, kindness, sense of humor, a solid work ethic and being a great friend to so many. I know loss, and I know that time does offer each of you time to reflect and heal. I think that Dan would tell you to live your lives to the fullest, have fun, work hard, and follow your heart. I spent many 12 hour shifts with Dan. He was very pleasant to work with and was willing to teach an out of state person like me the local history. We laughed quite a bit and he bought me a steak dinner once. We spent many hours talking. Very sorry to hear of this.

I couldn't believe it when I unexpectedly saw this yesterday. I think I am still in shock.
To Dan's family, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. He loved you all so very much. You have gained an amazing guardian angel and I am sure you will see comical signs from him.
