Oh Jamie how you will be missed. The times we shared together will always be cherished…The many conversations of how the Denver Broncos “sucked again,” and your love for the Alabama Crimson Tide and Coach Nick Sabin…The countless chants of “Roll Tide Roll”…and your love for NASCAR and the experience of Dean and Monte taking you and your brothers to a Talladega race…The smile never left your face when you would talk about it.
We made countless trips to CashWise if you were running low on your glazed donuts and always asking me to make sure I buy some “airplane cookies.”??
You were so proud of your sweet Savannah and loved your trips to Red Moose Coffee Haus with her.
You thought of my family as your own. My parents loved you so much and you loved them back. They always kept you in their prayers.
Dean and I and the kids will miss you like crazy but we will hang onto our memories. Give my dad a hug after you greet your mom, brothers and sister. I’m sure Monte will be in line for a hug from heaven’s newest angel, too. Fly high Jamie — you are now Alzheimers free????

We're praying that Jamie is at peace in Paradise. Can remember when Savanah was born, and Jamie would grin from ear to ear at talking about her or holding her.... God Bless you all.

Jamie... I am so very sad to be reading this! I did your hair so long ago and remember when you were trying to decide if you should get tested for this very sad disease. I remember you sharing with me that you were going to be a Dad! You were so very excited. Then I had the privilege of meeting your beautiful young daughter with you when she was about 3! You glowed with Pride.
Sadly, that was the last time I saw you! So I remember you the way you are NOW, Whole, Healthy, Glowing with the love of Jesus and your familly in your new Heavenly home!

I was watching the news tonight from Fargo WDAY when the story of Jamie's passing was aired. I cried. During my 9 years in Tioga, I had the privilege to have worked with Brian and coached and taught Doug, Dean and Jamie. They were hardworking and tough kids always ready with a smile and a laugh. I left Tioga in 1986 but I will never forget the DE-MOEs! Linda and I will remember you with our thoughts and prayers.

RIP Jamie, free of this terrible disease, that takes away a person's mind that is in a healthy body. All the people you touch throughout your life, will have a part missing in their heart and mind. However you left an impression on so many with your smile, laugh, and just being you. Heaven gained a great angel. You are how together with your family and friends who have been waiting. You are safe, pain free and in God's eternal and loving arms.
Will miss you smile, Roxy

I remember the day Jamie was born. A hot summer day in Tioga. I was 10 years old and we had a baseball game going on at a vacant lot next to the Longies. Local neighborhood boys-Braneskys, Hawkinson’s, Longies, and DeMoes. Karla or Lori came running over to us yelling “mom just had a baby boy”. The game stopped and we were all very excited for the arrival of Jamie. Peace and comfort be with you and your family.

Our deepest condolences in the loss of Jamie. We didn't know Jamie but learned of him through the book "The Inheritance" and from his sister-in-law Deb. Praying that you find comfort in your memories and the legacy Jamie left, and the gratitude of families like ours who are living with dementia.
