Sharon and Family,
I am sorry to hear of Avies’ passing. I am sending sincere condolences and prayers for you loss. She was a very thoughtful, kind, generous and caring person. She always had a smile and good words and deeds for people! Her helpfulness and compassion was always intentional and consistent! It can be said that all her kind traits and personality were passed to her children and relatives! Blessed be the memory of “Avie”.

To the family of Avalon, my deepest sympathies.

I met Avie at a IHS meeting in Rapid City Sd. Avie gave me my first introduction to the MHA nation, when she asked me to fill in for her in radiology, while she took a much needed vacation from the clinic in New Town. I did this several times for her ( temporary duty). During our visits, I found Avie to be the most kind and compassionate person. Avie, represented and contributed to the radiology profession and her tribe well. She was one of my early role models in the radiology profession.
Peace Avie and thanks for all you did for everyone.
