So sorry for this news. Gerald and I were very close. I worked for him and his dad on the farm for several years before Eunice and I moved to MN. When ever we came back to ND we would always stop to see Gerld & Marion. Last June we had the opportunity to spend a few hours visiting and drinking coffee with them on the farm. Thank you for all the great memories over the years. Our prayers are with you Marion and family. Wish we could be with during this time but.... Thinking of you.
With love.

To Gerald's family:
He was a true gentleman that will be missed by many. Always a delight to run into him and visit and you always learned something from your visits. He was an excellent farmer and rancher and great person. On the State Class C championship team in 1951 and great sports fan.
Rest in Peace.

My dear Gerald -- it was so nice to reconnect with you these last few weeks. It had been way too long. I will always treasure our recent visits. Gerald you were still as I remembered -- a quiet soft spoken person. Heaven doors opened and you entered your eternal home -- a reward for such a great life you lived. I will miss you a lot but hope to see you again one day. To Marion and family -- my sincerest sympathy for this great great loss. I pray for peace and comfort for all of you today and in the many days to follow. Again my deepest sympathy .

Always enjoyed visiting and joking with Gerald. When the oil boom came into play, I told him that my dad had traded mineral acres to his dad for a hay mower, and that I still had that mower and offered to trade it back. He didn’t think that was a very good deal. Our sympathy to the Olson family
