"To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted."

I like to think that we don't "lose" our loved ones. He just wanted to get a jump start on building a place in heaven for him an Annette. :)

I am very sorry for your loss. Steve was a very kind man and will be missed by many. May God continue to comfort and strengthen your family now and always. God Bless.

I will surely miss Steve. I remember when he came to my place to look at my combine modification and saw my kayaks and he said he had tried to walk across the river when it was low but didn't quite make it. I said why don't we toss those kayaks in the pickup and go across that river right now! So we did. Two farmers in irrigation boots and Betaseed caps must have been quite a sight but we sure had fun. He saved me some cottonwood trees he cut down that I sawed for lumber and I will always think of him when I look at the items I made from them.
I hope Steve and Gary are having a good visit.

My heart aches for you Annette-I know what a special couple you two were together. I have so enjoyed working with both of you at coffee hour after church. You dedicated yourself to Steve’s care when he became ill and there will be such a void in your life now. Steve’s suffering is now over & his place in heaven is his home until you can join him someday. Hugs my friend and may you find comfort in the many people that care for you. God bless.

My Uncle Steve was awesome! I will always remember his red sports car in the barn and Friday night Taco Pizza night in Fairview.

I love that kyack story! I'm sure he and Gary are laughing about it. He will be missed!
Deepest sympathy to Annette and Terry and entire Joslin family.

I am writing for my entire family. Dick, Diana, Michelle, Karen and myself. We have memories with Steve & Annette, Gary & Rachelle Sorensen and Alan & Jan Joslin on the farms. We were farm girls at heart and all of these people were so kind to us as children and meant a lot to my dad! Praying for your family.
