Heather, Jenna & Skylar and also Chuck and Bekki Zinne......Joyce was such an amazing person. I am not sure if she was actually my Godmother or if I just always called and considered her that, but I remember spending nights at their house when I was a young girl and she treated me like the daughter she never had. She was so kind and so fun. I will forever miss seeing her at the Eagles and her straight forward, no filter attitude. RIP Joycie

To the family of Joyce Rogness

Dear Skyler and Heather and Shirley Matson,

Dennis and Gary Folven are saddened by Joyce’s passing. Trips to Watford City always included some time with Joycie. Her enthusiastic manner and sense of humor were always appreciated by Gary and Dennis. We are sure that all Joyce’s friends and the larger members of the Watford community who knew her will miss her very much—her joy, her laugh, her keenness will be missed and not forgotten.

Although Joyce’s close friend, Shirley Matson, were not related, they were as close as sisters could be. Clearly, it is a friendship that will be deeply felt and we express our sorrow to Shirley along with Joyce’s Grandchildren Skyler and Heather.

Sincerely, Dennis and Gary Folven
