So sorry to hear about JoAnn. She has been a very good friend of mine since the 60's. Ken and JoAnn were also neighbors of ours, first living to the north of us and then building a home to the south of us. We did many fun things together throughout the years. We had a Birthday Club which JoAnn was a part of for many years, as well. So many memories, that I can't possibly put in this little space. We had a lot of fun, laughs and just doing things together. So sorry that her retirement years had so many health problems. God bless the memory of my friend, JoAnn. You will be missed by many. ????

For all of JoAnn's family I extend sympathy & condolences. I remember when we were kids together & visited each other at our parent's homes in Divide County. She had a gorgeous smile & was always so pretty. Since our family moved to MN in '59 we haven't had much contact but I have never forgotten her. Take care yourselves & each of each other in this mo urning time. With loving condolences, Caroline

Kenny and Family,
You have been on my mind all week and only these words by Leo Busgaglia truly say what I feel for having had JoAnn as my dear friend for all these years. I will miss her so much even tho miles separated us, but always knew she was only a phone call away.
I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death.
They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.
Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.

Ken, Jayme, & Family,
We are so very sorry for the loss of JoAnn and our thoughts/prayers are with you all. As you know, she was a very special lady, mother, friend, and wife. I have always thought of Ken and JoAnn as second parents to me and cherish the time that I was allowed to spend with them. We provide this memory poem for JoAnn and hope it helps in these very difficult times for the family.

Meet You at the Gate:
A beautiful garden now stands alone,
missing the one who nurtured it
But now she is gone, Her flowers still bloom, and the sun it still shines, But the rain is like tear drops, for the ones left behind, The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away,
But the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay, she loved every flower even some that were weeds,

So much love she would plant with each little seed, But just like her flowers she was part of Gods plan, So when it was her time he reached down his hand, He look through the Garden searching for the best, That's when he found JoAnn, it was her time to rest, It was hard for those who loved her, to just let her go,
But God had a spot in his garden, that needed a gentle soul, So when you start missing JoAnn, remember if you just wait, When God has a spot in his garden, She'll meet you at the gate....

Sincerely,
Scott Ziegler Family
