Natalie Koeser, at the age of 99, entered heaven on October 29, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospice House in Athens GA.
Born on May 26, 1917 near Sidney, Montana to Herbert and Della Lightner, Natalie was the middle child in her family of 10 siblings. In 1949, she married Claus Koeser and lived in Watford City, ND.
Natalie was known for her hospitality and the wonderful meals she served to family and friends. She was a talented seamstress and creative crafter. As the unofficial family historian, she kept detailed scrapbooks of the events of her extended family. She was a faithful friend and a devoted and generous mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Greeting her in heaven are her husband of 50 years, Claus, her infant son, Gary, her grandson, Jeremy, her parents, four sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Kay (Steve) Stringham of Athens, Georgia, her sister, Jennie Lee Johnson, of Sidney, Montana, her grandchildren Maria (William) Kytle, Ryan Stevenson, Sarah (Charles) Ingraham, and Seth (Adrienne) Stringham and her great grandchildren, Natalia, Hoke, Tallulah, Inola, Drake, and Felicity.
