Mary Beth was born on January 5, 1966, in Denver, CO the daughter of Richard and Janice (Plett) Leonard. She grew up and attended schools in the Denver area. Mary Beth graduated from Alameda High School in Lakewood, CO. While in high school Mary Beth worked at the La Petite Academy and after graduation she attended the academy where she received her teaching certificate. After receiving her certificate Mary Beth continued teaching at the La Petite Academy. On November 18, 1997, Mary Beth was united in marriage to Daniel “Dan” Bopp in Golden, CO. They made their home in Colorado until December of 2011 when they moved to Watford City, ND where they have been ever since.
Mary Beth enjoyed being with family and making them happy. She enjoyed cooking for the holidays and her favorite holiday was Christmas. Mary Beth loved being just a Mom.
Mary Beth passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016, at her home in Watford City, ND.
Surviving her are: her husband, Daniel “Dan” Bopp, her daughter, Malorey Jane Bopp; her two sons, Tyler Lawrence Bopp and Sean Jacob Bopp all of Watford City, ND; brother, Leoroy Leonard, Parker, CO; sisters, Vickie Carrington, Arvada, CO, Cindy Myotte, Louisville, CO; and Aunt Sylvia Jensen, Boulder, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Dan, Malorey, Tyler, and Sean. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your wife and mom. She was such a wonderful person and great cook. I hope you can all find peace in knowing that she is in a better place with our God in Heaven.
