Age: 71

Jose Luis “Joe” was born on October 19, 1945, in Morelos Coah, Mexico. In November of 1952, at the age of 7, his parents, a brother and two sisters moved to the United States. He grew up in Texas and Joe worked in many ranches.
Joe met and married Gloria Garcia in August of 1962. They had four children, Jesse, Gloria, Louie and Elisa. Joe worked in Lubbock, TX at the Farmer Coop Compress for many years. In 1980, he moved his family to Eagle Pass, TX to be closer to family. In 1982, the family came to Montana to hoe beets and was offered a job by the Millers in Savage, MT. Joe later went to work for Holly Sugar for 19 years as a mechanic. He retired in 2003 and remained in the area.
Joe loved his horses, working on cars, and helping his friends.
Joe died on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at the Sidney Health Center, Sidney, MT.
Surviving him are: his sons, Jesse Reyna, Colorado Springs, CO and Louie (Sis) Reyna, Sidney, MT; his daughter, Gloria (Scott) Ramus, Sidney, MT; his grandchildren, Jesse Reyna, Jr., Izabella Reyna, Jamie Reyna, Nikoal (Tommy) Johnston, Louie (Taylor Fischer) Reyna, Rayna (Dustin Fuchs) Ramus, McKen-z (Charlie Pennington) Ramus, and Kacie (Camron Morgan) Ramus; his great grandchildren, Pickle and Mila Johnston; his sisters, Olga (Ernesto) Vela, Margarita (Joe) Martinez, Gloria (Jess) Flores, Irene Andrews, Guadalupe Santos, Angie Reyna, and Letcia (Cesar) Villarreal.
His preceded in death by: his parents; his daughter-Elisa; a brother; his grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.

Family of Joe: We are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Yet another Holly Sugar co-worker has left us. So glad we visited a few weeks ago. He will be missed.

Worked with Joe at the sugar factory, always enjoyed running into Joe after we both retired and shoot the breeze. RIP Joe.

Gloria/Scott and Reyna family you have mine and Sandy's deepest condolences. One can never prepare them self enough to lessen the pain associated with loosing a parent. Try to take some comfort Joe is now without pain and has a new body in Heaven with God.
