Bryon G. Wiedmer, 55, of rural Williston, North Dakota passed away at CHI St. Alexius Health Center in Williston due to injuries received in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, March 18, 2019. Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Williston is assisting the family.
Bryon was born on April 4, 1963 in Lemmon, SD, the son of Norman and Janice (Anderson) Wiedmer. Norman worked in the oilfields and the family moved to Belfield, ND, later Culbertson, MT and then to Tioga, ND, where Bryon finished his education.
Bryon started working in the Williston Basin Oilfields for his father. He was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Severance. Barbara and Bryon’s mother passed away in a tragic car accident. Bryon later moved to the Fargo area, where he worked for a farmer. Later he moved to Williston, where he worked for Holly Negaard, who was like a mother and best friend to Bryon. Holly’s daughter Naomi, was Bryon’s Companion. Bryon lived in Williston until his untimely death.
Bryon enjoyed working on the farm and doing repair and maintenance work for Holly.
Bryon is survived by one son Tony Jean (Tara) Wiedmer of Bismarck, ND, one step-son, Tom Weber of Bismarck, ND, one step-daughter, Tia Shaeffer of Texas and one brother, Mike (Tracie) Wiedmer of Tioga along with several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Bryon was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one brother, Shawn Wiedmer and several Aunts and Uncles.
