Mary T. Rolf, 87, of Stanley, ND, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Mountrail Bethel Home in Stanley, North Dakota.

Born on a farm in Van Hook, North Dakota, Mary was the fifth of six children of William and Mary (Scholz) Roggenbuck. She grew up in Van Hook on the family farm and was a 1950 graduate of Van Hook High School.
In June of 1953, she married her true love, Glenn D. Rolf. Their marriage lasted 11 years, as Glenn passed in 1964. Mary worked as a certified nurse’s aide for many years and found joy in helping others. Music was a big part of her life. You could always hear her singing and yodeling, she even sang on the radio…live in 1952 on the Dakota Hayride Show. Mary also loved being outside working in her garden.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Glenda (Kris Halvorson) Ulven; sons, Robert Rolf, Mark Rolf; grandchildren Steven Ulven, Amanda (Jake) Smith, Katheryn Halvorson, Jared Halvorson, Lee (Leslie) Halvorson and Heather (Luis) Estrada.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn; her parents and her five siblings.
