It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Robert "Bob" John Ferrell
August 31, 1962 - July 17, 2020

Place of Birth: Crosby, ND
Residence: Sidney, MT
Age: 57

On Friday, July 17, 2020, Robert John Ferrell, 57, died at his daughters’ home in Sidney, MT. He was surrounded by his loving family, after suffering a long painful illness.
Bob was born on August 31, 1962 in Crosby, N.D. to proud parents, Dennis Ferrell, and Connie (Ralph) Cayko. As a young boy, Bob grew up in Williston and attend school through the 4th grade. He attended the 5th grade in Sidney, and the rest of his school years in Fairview.
After completing 8th grade, he quit school and went to work in the oil field. At the age of 16 he lied about his age and got a job as a rough neck. He was always so proud of himself for his work in the oil fields. He was an extremely hard worker and gave any job he had 110%. He worked various jobs in the patch. He attended truck driving school through Dawson Community College and within two days of his graduation he was in an 18-wheeler driving over the road and he loved it. For many years he drove hot oil truck in the Dickinson, ND area. He was extremely happy when he finally owned his own hot oil trucking business.
On November 18, 1988, in Tacoma WA, he married Marsha Brien. They lived in the state of Washington for several years where Bob worked in construction, cabinet making, in the logging industry and for Tacoma Steele. Bob and Marsha remained friends, up to the day he died. He received may blessings from their continued friendship and love for each other. The most important blessing was his daughter Nikole and his extended son and daughters.
After Bob and Marsha’s first break up, (there were a few) he met Angie Fenton in Aberdeen, WA. To this union his daughter Jordan was born.
He had a love for fishing, water skiing, being outdoors, playing cards, and riding horses, especially with his stepbrothers Norman and Kurt Dahl. Bob’s greatest love was riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He loved to hear the roar of the pipes and the sound of the Harley idle. The love of his life was not only his two daughters but also his grandkids. He loved those babies and enjoyed the time he got to spend with Shannah, Bentley, Jayslynne, and Raelynne.
Bob put up a courageous 2 ½ year fight with liver failure. He suffered so much during this time and it was anguish on his loved ones to watch. His niece Lisa took care of him for several months. His nephew David also assisted with his care and Bob loved their trips to the swimming pool and to get ice cream. His very dear friend Albert was by Bob’s side also, assisting in many different ways. While Bob hated to leave us and we hated to let him go, we can be assured that he is no longer in pain and is suffering no more.
He is survived by: his mother, Connie Cayko of Fairview, MT; stepfather, Dennis Dahl of Fairview, MT; his children, Nikole Brien, Sidney, MT, and her 4 children; Jordan Ferrell, Aberdeen, WA, and her 2 children; his extended children, Kaylynne (Ryan) Read, Markie (Kendahl) Miller, Kyndra McManhan, Kenni Murschel, and son Dalles (Lilly) Murschel; his brothers and sisters, Mike (Nubia) Ralph, Houston, TX, Dennise (Tim) Schaffner, Glendive, MT, Georgia (DuWayne) Lorenz Glendive, MT, Anita (Kirk) Johnson, Cartwright, ND, Danny Ferrell, Fairview, MT; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, who he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Dennis Ferrell; his grandparents, George and Myrtle Ferrell and Edwin and Hazel Ralph; step-brothers, Norman and Kurt Dahl; several aunts and uncles.
