I have many special memories of Dorothy. When we were young she and Art were are snow storm family if we couldn't get home on the bus. She made us very welcome and seemed to handle the intrusion of 4 kids unexpectedly landing on her doorstep with ease. One year when she was in her late 80s she made my sisters and me all aprons since we admired the one she was wearing. I still love the apron and was wearing it yesterday as I baked cookies. She also made the best krumkake and brought it to our Christmas dinner every year. I will miss her. My sincere sympathy to all of her family.
