Duane Gravos
June 5, 1952 - October 25, 2021


Duane Clifford Gravos was born June 5th, 1952 to Harold and Lillian (Gilstad) Gravos. He and his siblings were raised on the family farm in rural Arnegard. Duane graduated from Watford City High School in 1970. He enlisted in the Army, and was sent to Vietnam he was honorably discharged in 1974.
Duane married Sharon Danks in 1984, and they raised their three boys together, Jordan, Darrick, and Nathan. Duane loved his boys and his grandkids.
Duane worked the oil patch during two oil booms, and made many friends. During his time working in the oilfield, he taught many others how to work the rigs. He was also gifted carpenter and shared his talent with others there as well. Duane was a gentle spirit. He loved babies, kids, old people and animals.
He was a blessing to everyone who knew him, and he will be missed.
Duane is survived by; his sons, Jordan, Darrick, and Nathan; his sisters, Ireene and Judy; and his brother Lynn.
Duane is preceded in death by; his son, Dominic; his parents; and his brothers, Ralph and Harlan

Sending our love, condolences, and prayers. Duane was a wonderful man. His love for children will never be forgotten. He was like a grandpa to my son and we are forever grateful for the memories.

Duane was a kind sole, Not only a cousin but a good friend over the years. So sorry I couldn't be there to celebrate his life. He will be missed.
