It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Trent Hofland
May 1, 1975 - January 18, 2022

Place of Birth: Bozeman, Montana
Residence: Alexander, North Dakota
Age: 46

Trent Hofland, 46, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Alexander, ND on January 18, 2022.

Trent was born on May 1, 1975, in Bozeman to Paul and Cheryl Hofland, the youngest of four children. He grew up in Livingston and Havre. He was a son, husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend.

On June 26, 1998, he married the love of his life Lorrie Morgan. They were blessed with three children and three grandbabies who he loved dearly. He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments.

Trent graduated from Montana Tech in 2009 as a lineman but his passion for driving trucks took him down a different career path.

Trent was always up for an adventure and loved to tell stories. He had a thirst for knowledge and was intrigued by how things worked. He loved trying new things which led him to wear many hats to provide for his family. He worked many jobs across Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and North Dakota. His last job was a professional driver for Busy Bees, he was proud to be part of their amazing family.

Trent was one of a kind, never a dull moment. He was always telling a joke or giving you shit (that’s how you knew he liked you). He laughed often and loved hard. Trent was the dice rolling, drink winning champion of Alexander. He believed in facing your fears and living for the moment. He loved riding his Harley, rolling dice, camping, hunting, demolition derbies, stock car races, and spending time with friends and family.

Riding his Harley was one of his greatest passions. It didn’t matter if it was giving the grandkids a ride around the block or going on a trip with his wife, brothers, or friends. He will be missed by all. Fly High and Ride Free.
He is survived by his wife Lorrie Hofland of Alexander, ND; twin sons, Jordan Hofland of Alexander, ND and Aaron Hofland of Havre, MT; daughter, Alyssa Hofland of Havre, MT; grandson, Jaylex of Havre, MT; granddaughters, Isabella and Aaliyah of Glasgow, MT; mother, Cheryl Hofland of Havre, MT; mother in law, Cheri Brindle of Box Elder, MT; brothers, Tim (Robyn) Hofland of Pinedale, WY and Mark (Tammy) Hofland of Livingston; sister, Doreen (Brian) Smith of Havre, MT; brother in law, Joe Morgan of Big Sandy, MT; nephews; Steve Jones of Livingston, MT, Cameron Hofland (Denholm) of Livingston, MT and Brock Smith of Havre, MT; nieces, Stephanie Beale of Pinedale, WY, Shelby (Jose) De Dios Camberos of Livingston, MT, Jessica Hofland of Livingston, MT and Megan Hofland of Redmond, OR; special friends, Terri Brix of Havre, MT and Matt Brix of Havre, MT; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Hofland; nephew, Eric Jones; special friend Robert Brix; numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Trent hauled water to and from our wells. You never had to worry that about a tank overflowing or fresh water needed hauled in. He took care of it. I watch a workover rig, and once in a while I needed something. Called Trent. He got er done. You will be missed, my friend.
