Ruby Enger, 91, of White Earth, North Dakota passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at the Tioga Medical Center in Tioga, North Dakota.

Ruby was born at home in rural Mountrail County, and was raised in the White Earth, North Dakota area. She attended country school and graduated from White Earth High School. Ruby married Jerome Enger and together the couple lived and enjoyed a life of farming in the beautiful White Earth Valley. Ruby shared 66 great years with Jerome before he passed away in 2019.

Ruby was a warm and wonderful woman who made people of all ages feel welcome in her home. She enjoyed treks to Mica Hill and walking in the hills around the farm. Ruby always had caramel rolls and brownies on the counter, and cookies and candy on the table. She enjoyed the companionship of her horses, dogs, and cats throughout the years.

Ruby would say she lived in the best place with the best people in the world. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Thank You
Ruby’s family wishes to thank her friends, neighbors, and the staff at the Tioga Medical Center for their care and kindness in her illness and passing.

To my wonderful Aunt Ruby!! So many memories come to mind. Visiting at the dining room table, looking out the big windows to the pasture, looking south down to White Earth. I will miss you and those visits. But I also plan to see you again some day! With a huge smile.

We will miss you Ruby and thank the Lord for the precious memories of homemade brownies at your table, bugles, hiking to the petrified bridge behind your house, your love and hospitality. Now you’re resting from your labors. May the peace of Christ be with your sisters, family, and friends.
