Cheryl A. Kessel, 66 was born on August 9, 1957 to Alice Labonite and Richard Mathews. Cheryl passed away August 19, 2023 at the Bismarck Sanford Hospital due to cancer.

Cheryl attended Williston Schools and graduated with the Class of 1975.

Cheryl had two daughters, Gina and Stacey from a previous marriage. She met George Kessel and they were united in marriage on December 31, 1990.

Cheryl loved to cross-stitch and needle point and made many beautiful pictures for friends and family. She also loved canning, making raspberry jelly, playing cribbage and loved vacationing in Jamacia.

Cheryl worked in different areas in Williston, the latest being the Super 8 Motel where she made many friends.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, George; daughters, Gina and Stacey; sister, Debbie (Howard) Yost; brother, Scott (Sue) Mathews; five grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and many in-laws.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Labonite; her father, Richard Mathews.
