Jane Ellen Urban, 65, of Watford City, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, November 13, 2023, at her home.
When Jane was a child she would pick fruit with her family seasonally, which then turned into her and her brother, Danny, starting a little yard service. This little endeavor not only led to a lifetime career for Jane, but she was very passionate about it. As Jane got older the family moved to Montana where she graduated and met her first husband Carl Black. They moved to Gillette, WY and started a family along with multiple businesses. They ran multiple businesses for many years and after Jane and Carl had divorced, Jane moved to Watford City, ND, where she met her husband Daniel Urban.
Jane loved hosting family get together and was famous for her potato salad. Jane loved taking her grandkids to, as she would call it, “sunny beach”. As winter came Jane decided she was going to retire at the lake and found a new love for baking and canning. Jane loved her flowers and taking side-by-side rides through the grasslands. As Janes life on earth has come to an end, she will always live on in all of our hearts forever.
