Gary Robb
August 4, 1956 - December 9, 2023

Residence: Williston, North Dakota

Gary J. Robb, age 67 of Williston, North Dakota, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Eastern Montana Veteran's Home in Glendive, Montana.

Gary was born in Roseau, MN to Vernon and Doris Robb on August 4, 1956. He was raised in Kennedy, MN and graduated from high school in 1974. From there, he joined the Air Force and served for 3 years before being Honorably Discharged in November of 1977. He then moved to Williston, ND shortly after and began his career in the oilfield, with his most recent company being Spec-Tech.

He met Debra Johnson in Williston, and the two of them married on June 25, 1982. Together they had two children, Shannah and Garrett. Their marriage later ended in divorce.

Gary was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast, having a few sports cars of his own growing up. In the summertime, you’d find him working on and riding his two motorcycles. In the colder seasons, you could find him enjoying some old-time westerns on TV. He loved his time being a grandfather, and enjoyed seeing them as much as he could. He never forgot a birthday or holiday when it came to them.

He is survived by his two children, Shannah (Sean) Hendrickson; Garrett Robb; his six grandchildren, Ariana Jo, Ayden, Addisyn, Asher, Skylar, and Exton; his sister, Janice (Raymond) Hunt and their children Phil (Rebecca) Hunt, and Andrea (Andrew) Aberle, and numerous other relatives in MN.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

He will be missed dearly by his family and his friends. As he would say “Arrivederci, Ciao!” Until we see you again. We love you and miss you, Dad.

Back in the late 70's through the early 80s Gary was my supervisor when we worked for AMF Tuboscope in Williston. Gary trained me to be a pipe inspector operator. We had some really good times together back then. God Bless his memory.
