Lyle Douglas Jorgenson, 83 passed away in the early morning on January 4, 2024 at Bethel Lutheran Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Williston, North Dakota. Lyle was born on December 1, 1940, at home south of Watford City, North Dakota. He was the second of five children (Dale, Lyle, Kathi, Denver and Nevada) born to Helen M (Dodge) and Carl A Jorgenson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Jorgenson; mother, Helen Jorgenson; son, Troy Jorgenson; brother, Dale Jorgenson; and Sharon (Crimmins) Boone, mother of his children.

Lyle is survived by his daughter, Kristi (Jeff) Armstrong; son, Lance Jorgenson; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Condolences to Lyle’s family! I remember Lyle back in the 80’s when he worked for Tenneco Oil Co West of Fairfield. Lyle was one of the lead lease operators and we were running the National Oilwell Unidraulic down hole jet pumps. We spent many a day out there doing maintenance and repair on those jet lift systems. I got to know Lyle real good.
I never forgot him!
