Charles "Charlie" John Westerso
August 20, 1956 - January 16, 2024

Place of Birth: Williston, North Dakota
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 67

Charles “Charlie” John Westerso, 67, of Williston, ND, passed away on January 16, 2024 at the Bethel Lutheran Home in Williston. Charlie was born on August 20, 1956 in Williston, ND to Irene and Johnny Westerso. He attended schools in Williston.

He worked at El Rancho in Williston for many years and was a dedicated employee. He knew all the gossip from Alamo to Williston and everywhere in between. He was a kind man and would give anything he had. Charlie had a deep love for children and he always was willing to watch anyone's kids when needed. He then had a child of his own, Eric. Charlie was very excited for Eric to be born but his desire to be a father to his son was overtaken by his addiction.

Charlie’s later years were spent in nursing homes due to his health complications. He was a quiet man and kept to himself. If you know Charlie, you know his struggles. Let us find solace in the knowledge that he is now at peace and free from the weight of his addiction.

He is survived by his son, Eric Croteau and his brother, Reggie (Gina) Westerso.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Irene Westerso; and brother, Roger Westerso.

So very sad to hear of "Charlie's" passing.
Even though we haven't seen each other in years, he was always thought of, a quiet gentleman back in the days, but a friend to almost everyone.
Rest in Peace My Good Friend !!!
In My Prayers,

I recall you having a couple brewskis back in the day and napping on a couch. Rest well, Tuna.
