It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Johnny H. Vincent
March 6, 1954 - September 30, 2024

Place of Birth: Marion Springs, Michigan
Residence: Tioga, North Dakota
Age: 70

Johnny Hayden Vincent passed peacefully from this world on September 30th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an unwavering zest for life. Born on March 6, 1954, to James Lester Vincent and Dora Bolger. Johnny shared his birthday with his beloved mother, a bond that was always dear to his heart. He was the fourth of six children.

At the tender age of 15, Johnny met the love of his life, Darlene Ann Petry, a love that blossomed into a lifetime of devotion. Married on September 14, 1974, Johnny and Darlene recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, a milestone that marked not only their love but the countless memories they created together. Their union was blessed with four cherished children: Dolly, Rachel, Jessica, and Johnny Jr.

Johnny’s love for nature was evident in his passion for hunting, fishing, and exploring the mountains of Montana. His favorite moments were spent with his family, whether it was elk hunting with his son in Oregon or searching for huckleberries and mushrooms in the quiet forests. His entrepreneurial spirit saw him run several businesses, including Poor Boy’s Auto and Tire Recycling, Bolger’s Bait & Tackle, Vincent Janitorial and even a tree service. He may have had a love-hate relationship with mechanics, but he always approached each job with humor, grit, and a heart full of kindness. Johnny welcomed everyone as if they were family, embodying a free spirit that made strangers feel like lifelong friends. Johnny had an incredible ability to make strangers feel like family, greeting everyone with a warm smile and a kind word.

In 1996, Johnny followed his heart—and his children—to Tioga, North Dakota, where his love for the outdoors continued to thrive. He would spend hours walking the beaches of Lake Sakakawea, searching for arrowheads and finding joy in the simplest of things, like when he always had an eye out for pennies—perhaps enough to fill a boat or two by now. And if you ever walked or talked with him, you know he had a story for every penny he picked up. His free spirit, love for Jehovah, and deep faith were woven into every aspect of his life.

Johnny had an infectious love for life. Whether it was strumming his guitar by the campfire, playing spoons and pinochle with family, or cheering on his grandchildren at their sports games and performances, he found joy in every moment. His stories, full of adventure and heart, could captivate anyone lucky enough to listen.

In his later years, Johnny cherished reconnecting with nieces and nephews. His presence filled every room with warmth and laughter. His stories, his phone calls, and his endless love will be missed beyond measure. His spirit of generosity, love for family, and ability to find beauty in the world around him leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
