Courtney Dawn Reddish
July 19, 1981 - March 27, 2025

Place of Birth: Williston, North Dakota
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 43

Courtney Dawn Reddish, 43, of Williston, ND, passed away at CHI St. Alexius Hospital on Thursday, March 27, surrounded by her family.

Courtney was born on July 19, 1981, in Williston, North Dakota, the daughter of Ronda Peterson and David Reddish. She was raised and educated in Williston and graduated from Williston High School in 1999. After graduation Courtney moved to Bottineau to attend Dakota College in Bottineau, North Dakota for 2 years, obtaining her AAS and Certificate in Horticulture and Landscaping.

Courtney was raised by her mother Ronda, along with her younger sister, Alyssa Reddish. In 1988 Courtney was so proud and happy when her mother married Kurt Clemmensen and they all became one family; they were so excited to add her baby sister, Vanessa Clemmensen, to the family in 1989. Kurt stepped into his fatherhood duties with lots of love, support and encouragement, rarely ever missing the opportunity to take his “girls” clothes shopping, taking them to school, gymnastics, dance, and being the proud dad at all their events. He was especially proud to share the joys of staying every summer at the Clemmensen Cabin in Minnesota, which immediately became Courtney’s “Happy Place.” He loved his family, and they loved him dearly.

Courtney was excited to share her “Happy Place” with Riley and Marley when they went on their yearly trips to the Cabin in Minnesota, along with her mother, sisters, nephews and niece. She loved sharing the wonder and beauty of the Cabin, the rustic outdoor nature along with jumping in the lake, canoeing, and showing Riley and Marley the little cafes and area sites. The funniest of all was Courtney letting Riley and Marley know it was ok to rinse off in the lake, as baths and showers could easily be taken care of when they got back home. Courtney was very athletic and artistic, she encouraged Riley’s love of sports and encouraged him to participate in basketball, football and baseball; she loved attending his games. She was so proud to cheer Riley and the Trenton Tiger teams he has been participating in. Courtney loved sharing her artistic talents with Marley, encouraging Marley’s artistic skills, painting, drawing, and Marley enjoying her times with all her friends. Courtney loved showing Riley and Marley the joys of rock hunting agates at the cabin. Courtney’s love of family, the outdoors, art and sports will live on through Riley and Marley.

Courtney moved to Bismarck to work for Ramkota Motel and Convention Center, where she worked for many years. While living there she and Bart Langemo began a relationship. They had two children, Riley, 18 years old and Marley, 16 years old, who she was so proud of and loved dearly.

While in school Courtney was active in gymnastics and lettered as a freshman. Courtney participated in roller derby while living in Bismarck.

Courtney and her kids moved back to Williston to be closer to family. Courtney worked in the service industry for different restaurants and lounges. Courtney was an avid rock hunter, especially agates at the cabin in Minnesota. Courtney was a whimsical painter on canvas and gave many of her paintings to her family for birthdays and other gifts. She had a love of gardening and was so proud of the greenhouse Eric built for her. Eric joined Courtney in her love of music, rock hunting, gardening, and spending time at Trenton Lake.

Courtney can best be described, as one family member stated, “She was just a down to earth, super cool “hippie at heart,” that loved and accepted everyone. She loved the Grateful Dead band.

She is survived by her children, Riley Reddish-Langemo and Marley Langemo; and their half-brother, Kade Langemo; her mother, Ronda Peterson; sisters, Alyssa Reddish (Jason), Vanessa Clemmensen, Meaghan Toennis (Matthew), Mackenzie Reddish; her father and step-mother, David and Katie Reddish; her significant other, Eric Falcon and his parents, Delmar and Linda Falcon; her nephews, Dylan and Braden; and her niece, Haidyn; special family friend, Jan Bartlett; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her stepdad, Kurt Clemmensen; maternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Peterson; paternal step-grandparents, Fritz and Ginny Clemmensen; and many more relatives and incredibly good friends.

Memorial Contribution
The Family would encourage everyone who attends Courtney's Celebration of Life to wear brightly colored clothing, or their Bob Marley/Grateful Dead shirts.
