July 25, 1957 - April 18, 2025

Place of Birth: Sidney, Montana
Residence: Sidney, Montana
Age: 67

Larry Dean Larson was born July 25, 1957, in Sidney, Montana to Merrill and Eunice (Sundheim) Larson. He was the third of four children.

Larry passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 18, 2025.

Larry had a fun childhood being raised on the farm north of Sidney with lots of neighborhood kids. He enjoyed everything from baseball, football, basketball, and soccer games to riding horse and bikes and playing in the creek.

Larry attended Central Elementary School, Sidney Junior High School, and graduated from Sidney Senior High School in 1975. This year would have been his 50th year class reunion which he was very fond of attending all his reunions. He was very close to his classmates and saw a lot of them often.

Larry started working while in high school at the Snowflake Bakery. He would make deliveries before going to school. After graduation, he worked for a Seismograph company before starting work at Blue Rock Products of Sidney. He was later transferred to Blue Rock of Plentywood and later worked for Cenex in Plentywood.

From there he left to go to Billings to attend May Broadcasting School. Upon graduation, he went to work at KULR 8 News as a cameraman. He worked there for 20 plus years and got to meet many celebrities and other people. Some of his favorite people he met were Henry Winkler, Davey Jones, and Stan Lynde. Larry also was able to go on the first Veterans flight from Montana to Washington DC where he got to enjoy visiting with the Veterans and seeing the sights. Years later he moved back to Sidney where he worked a few years at Blue Rock Products and then onto Reynolds where he met and enjoyed visiting lots of people coming into the store. He also enjoyed all of the people he worked with.

Larry is survived by his sisters Linda Severson (Chris) and Sharon Jensen (Curt); brother Bruce Larson; nephews Robert Severson, Jason Severson, and Jake Jackson; and nieces Eva Novak and Kristi Gaines and their spouses and children. Larry is also survived by several special aunts, uncles, and cousins that he was very fond of.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and other beloved family members.

Linda, Sharon and all of Larry's family,
Oh no, what a shock. I'm so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. First knew him when he was delivering at the store where I worked in Sidney. He was a very kind and gentle man, with a great sense of humor. He will be missed. May God give you comfort in the days ahead. With sympathy, love, and prayers, Charlotte
